The simple Sphere sculpting tool is the default tool. Simply click the trigger and drag your controller through the air to make the shape you want.
The alternate mode for the Sphere tool is “Carve.” Carve lets you carve into existing shapes.
The Stabilized Sphere tool is like the Sphere tool, but it gives you extra stability so you can create the shapes you want with more precision.
The Smoothing Brush lets you “smooth out” details and edges in your sculptures.
Alternate modes include “Shape Only” and “Colors Only”--so that you can smooth out just the shape without blurring the colors, or so you can blur the colors without impacting the shape.
The Bulge/Deflate tool lets you modify the surface of your sculpture. The “Bulge” mode pulls the surface of the sculpture outward, allowing you to create ridges and lumps. The “Deflate” tool pushes the surface inward, allowing you to make indentations.
The Paint Brush allows you to color your sculptures with different colors. It doesn’t affect the shape of the sculpture.
In “Paint” mode, things within the sphere of the brush get painted the color that you have selected.
In “Blend Paint” mode, the tool acts more like an airbrush, lightly changing the color of objects that you paint.
